Please help us to care for Glasgow’s important civic collections and ensure everyone has access to this important and rich heritage.  

Your donation

Every donation - no matter how large of small - makes a vital difference

£10 supports hospitality for an elderly group to visit a museum such as our successful initiative Men in Sheds

£25 supports an hour of specialist conservation on the many thousands of historically important objects in the collections, preserving them for future generations to learn from

£50 buys materials for our annual holiday family workshops - helping young children connect with the collections

£75 allows us to create a graphic panel for exhibitions

£100 supports a storytelling session as part of a family workshop

£250 allows us to invite an artist to host an adult art workshop

£500 allows us to develop vital skills within our Museum Curatorial team by providing professional training in their specialist area

£1,000 allows us to host annual family fun day

Making a donation is straight forward and you can chose how and when

You can make a one-off donation or support our work through a regular monthly gift which will go directly towards providing investment for your favourite museum object, collection or programme.

How you can give us more at no cost to you

If you are a UK tax payer or  or pay capital gains tax and would like to Gift Aid your donation, Glasgow Museums can claim 25% of your donation from HMRC, meaning that every £1 you donate is worth £1.25.

Our online payment facility is doubly encrypted to keep your financial information secure.  However, there are other ways to make your donation:

• call 0141 276 9515, and we can take a credit/debit card payment over the phone
• send a cheque - made payable to Glasgow Life - to The Fundraising Team, Glasgow Life, 38 Albion Street, Glasgow G1 1LH
