Join Jane Flint, Curator of Prehistoric Archaeology, to take a closer look at this polished Neolithic (New Stone Age) jadeitite axehead found at Dumbrock, near Strathblane, in Stirling Council Area.  This axehead is an exotic import from the Italian Alps to Scotland: a journey of hundreds of miles made over 5,000 years ago.  Find out about the magic wrapped up in one beautifully-crafted object of pale green stone!
