The Grant

This fund is open to formally constituted local community groups working for and with people in Glasgow and aims to help them do more, reach more people, or try something different! We want communities all over Glasgow to be inspired and make something happen that matters locally.

You may be planning a Winter Festival event or Christmas Fair, maybe a Family Fun Day during the mid-term break in February 2019 or want to enhance your Street Play 2018 programme.

Perhaps you want to tackle social isolation in your local community by organising events that bring people out of their homes e.g. St Andrew’s Day Ceilidh or Burns Supper. It’s up to you – anything is possible.

One-off grants of £500, £750 or £1,000 are available to support a range of community events.

There will be two funding rounds in 2018/19. The closing dates for receipt of applications are Friday 16th November 2018 and Friday 25th January 2019.
