We also train and support organisations to establish their own walks for members and/or their local community. This allows organisations the freedom to offer walks at a time and day that they know will work for the groups involved. Please call 0141 287 0963 or email walking@glasgowlife.org.uk for more information.
Support from the Good Move Walking Team has helped support local organisations to set up regular walks for their members. Please call 0141 287 0963 or email walking@glasgowlife.org.uk for more information. Read their stories below:

Vitality
People with medical conditions can have fun getting active with the support of our specially trained Vitality instructors.
Vitality classes offer a friendly, supportive way to become more active, improve confidence, and strengthen movement for everyday life. Our instructors are trained to help participants work safely at their own pace, adapting exercises to different levels of mobility, balance, and fitness.
The focus is on what you can do and helping you progress in a way that feels comfortable. Vitality classes are suitable for people who may feel unsteady on their feet, have reduced strength or mobility, are returning to activity after a period of inactivity, or want extra support staying active.
You do not need to identify with any specific medical condition to take part. There are four levels within the Vitality programme, each designed around different levels of mobility and confidence.
If you are unsure where to start, we can help guide you to the most suitable class to ensure you feel safe, supported, and able to enjoy being active. For more information, call us 0141 287 9882 or email us and we will be happy to advise.
Designed for those who walk slowly and may use a mobility aid, this class improves strength and balance to help you feel steadier on your feet. Movements focus on building strength, improving balance, and supporting safe, steady everyday mobility. The pace is gentle with plenty of time to practise and repeat exercises. This level is ideal if you would feel more confident with a supported, steady approach to improving balance and movement.
