Free Getting Started Digital Course (4 sessions)
Sessions cover:
- Getting started with Computers
- Getting started with the Internet
- Getting started with Online Safety & Shopping
- Getting started with Email
- Getting started with Microsoft Word
From switching on a computer to using a mouse and exploring the basics of word processing, to searching the internet and sending emails - this is fun and informal introduction to computers and tablets. It's all done at an easy pace - ideal for anyone with little or no computer experience and even for those who might be a little scared of computers.
The sessions are run by experienced staff who will guide you through the course in the relaxed and friendly environment of our libraries.
Who is the course for?
Complete beginners or those who simply want to brush up on core digital skills. You must be 16+.
How the course is delivered:
- Run over 4 sessions
- Face to face
- Tutor-led in small groups
Where and when do courses take place?
Bridgeton Library - every Friday 10.30am-12.30pm
Springburn Library - every Monday 2-4pm and every Wednesday 10.30am-12.30pm
