Build skills and confidence through Glasgow’s community adult learning programmes and support
We offer regular courses for anyone over 16 who wants to learn English as a second language. The ESOL course helps to improve reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
How to learn English with Glasgow Life:

Email us at glasgowslearning.esol@glasgowlife.org.uk and someone will be in touch. You must include your name, mobile number and postcode. |

ESOL assessment: you will be invited to an assessment so that we can get the right level of support for you. |

Start your ESOL course: we will then let you know where and when your ESOL course will happen. Please note that the classes can only run when we have enough people for the course. |

We want to find the best class for you so we will invite you to come to an ESOL assessment session first. This helps us understand your level and give you the right support.
Our Community ESOL classes take place in local areas and can help you get ready for college. We offer classes for beginners to people at pre-intermediate level.
Classes will run when we have enough people in your local area.
We also run ESOL Book Groups and Creative Writing Groups for learners at intermediate level and above.
