An overnight success at the age of 40, Scottish singer-songwriter Kathryn Joseph hit the headlines when her debut release, Bones You Have Thrown Me And Blood I've Spilled, was named 2015’s Scottish Album of the Year. As reaffirmed by 2018’s follow-up From When I Wake The Want Is, her sensual, vibrato-laden vocals, mesmeric piano work and unflinchingly truthful songwriting rank her among Scotland’s most singularly compelling talents. “Few artists make sad music quite as visceral or beguiling” (The List)

An exhilarating cross-genre line-up of young Scottish musical talent with professional collaborators, the 20-strong Tinderbox Collective brings together rappers and singers with strings, brass, woodwind and a heavyweight rock-style backline, boldly rewriting the rules of orchestral performance. “Rave culture meets last night of the Proms” (The Herald)

Following their individual sets, both acts come together to launch their first collaborative EP The Blood, The Weight, The Weary, comprising new orchestral versions of tracks from both Joseph’s albums.
