NYOS Symphony Orchestra

Christian Kluxen CONDUCTOR

We are delighted to continue our partnership with the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland. In the true spirit of partnership, NYOS welcomes to the podium former RSNO Assistant Conductor Christian Kluxen.

Now Music Director of the Victoria Symphony in Canada and Chief Conductor of the Arctic Philharmonic in Norway, Kluxen and the Symphony Orchestra perform Stravinksy’s Petrushka. The sensational sequel to The Firebird, Stravinsky’s ballet about the lovestruck puppet Petrushka astonished audiences in Paris in 1911, and over one hundred years later, its orchestral colours shine just as bright. It’s perfect showcase for the wonderful musicians of the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland.

Tickets: £20
Concessions: Student/Under 26/Unemployed £6 (Only redeemable over the phone or in person), OAP £17.
