Community Based Adult Learning
Build skills and confidence through Glasgow’s community adult learning programmes and support.
Our free classes for adults aged 16+ take place in community venues across the city and can help with numbers, maths, spelling, reading and writing.
Our classes help with form filling, helping children with homework, understanding bills and bank statements, improving skills for work and lots more.

A holistic and learner centred approach is offered with individual learning or group classes. These small and friendly classes empowers learners to progress at their own pace with programmes supporting accreditation, self-development, further education and career pathways or simply building their confidence for what they need.
Qualified tutors curate learning resources based on the learner’s individual needs and aspirations. Each group has its own tutor.
You get to decide what to work on and learn at your own pace.
Where possible, you will have access to computers and receive full support from our friendly tutors.
Numeracy closed group classes within schools for parents/carers. A six-week block for P1-P3 children which mirrors maths lessons delivered in schools.
Contact your own school for more information.
