Bellahouston Pool ready to welcome back customers

We’re excited to share that Bellahouston Pool will reopen to the public on Friday 8 August. This follows a major refurbishment to make it better than ever.

The work has created a more comfortable space for everyone who uses the pool, gym, and sports hall. It’s all part of our ongoing commitment to keeping Glasgow Club Bellahouston a welcoming place for the local community for years to come.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Upgraded pool systems and air handling units to improve comfort and safety
  • A complete makeover of the changing village, with brand-new cubicles and lockers
  • Fresh poolside decoration and tile repairs
  • A new Poolpod, helping people with limited mobility get in and out of the pool independently and with dignity

We’ve also made other improvements:

  • Air conditioning in the spin studio
  • The floor in the main sports hall, which we have resanded and realigned
  • Refreshed reception and changing areas
  • A Changing Places toilet, making the space better for disabled users and those with complex needs
  • New entry gates to help you get in quicker

From Friday 8 August, Bellahouston Pool’s new opening hours will be:

  • Monday to Friday – 6.30am to 9.30pm
  • Saturday – 8am to 5.30pm
  • Sunday – 8am to 3.30pm

As part of our ongoing investment in the city’s pools, Springburn Pool will also undergo refurbishment. This will include new operating systems, boilers, air handling units, updated tiles, and improved toilets.

To complete this work, Springburn Pool will close from Monday, 11 August. We expect it to reopen in summer 2026.
