Colleagues needed for Scottish Parliament election count

The Election Office is looking for colleagues to help with the Scottish Parliament election count on Friday 8 May 2026.

This is a paid role. They will fill places on a first come, first served basis once you submit an Expression of Interest form.

• Date: Friday 8 May 2026
• Location: Glasgow International Arena (formerly Emirates Arena)
• Time: 8:15 am until the count ends (around 5pm)
• Payment: £130 (before VAT)

How to apply

To apply, please complete the Expression of Interest form on the Glasgow City Council website. The deadline to apply is 5pm on Monday 20 April 2026.

Please speak to your line manager and get their approval before you apply.

If you’ve already sent an Expression of Interest, you can email the Elections Team at electionsconstituencymanagers@glasgow.gov.uk to check your application.

If you’re successful, the Elections Team will share full details with you.
