Countdown to UEFA Euro 2028

With less than 1,000 days to go, UEFA officially launched Euro 2028 on Wednesday 12 November 2025.

Cities across the UK and Ireland celebrated the launch. In Glasgow, we projected our Host City logo onto the Royal Concert Hall.

Nine stadiums across eight cities in the UK and Ireland will stage Euro 2028. The tournament promises a compelling showcase of elite football as Glasgow proudly plays its part as a Euro Host City for the second time.

UEFA also announced the eagerly awaited match schedule, confirming Glasgow will host six matches at Hampden Park between 10 June and 1 July 2028.

Group matches:

• Match Day 1: Saturday 10 June
• Match Day 2: Tuesday 13 June
• Match Day 3: Saturday 17 June
• Match Day 4: Wednesday 21 June

Followed by:

• Round of 16: Monday 26 June
• Quarter-final: Saturday 1 July
