Disability activity days help more people get moving

We know that being active helps our bodies and our minds. This is why we want to help as many people as possible get moving.

Adults with disabilities shaped our disability activity days. They provide a fun and friendly place for them to be active. Their ideas helped us ensure the sessions feel safe, welcoming, and full of energy.

In our short film, Pauline, Jordan, and Simone talk about what the sessions mean to them.

Families also love the sessions. They see their loved one’s smile, make new friends and grow in confidence.

We launched our first disability activity day in September 2024 at Tollcross. The day was a great success, and since then the programme has grown across the city.

We now run regular sessions at Glasgow Club Gorbals. And from today (Friday 21 November), we will also run a new session at Glasgow Club Springburn. We are excited to welcome even more people.

You can discover more about our sessions on our Adult Disability Activity Days page.
