Employer Supported Volunteering with Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity

Three people are working together behind a table to put promotional material together into bags for a charity event

Glasgow Life colleagues recently volunteered with Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity, helping to prepare for their sponsored walk event this weekend.

The Kami Bears Teddy Trail will start at Riverside Museum on Saturday 5 September. This family-friendly event offers a 5k and a 10k route and sets out to raise as much as possible for children and babies in the Royal Hospital for Children.

Colleagues helped to pack bags for the participants, ensuring walkers will have everything they need for the event.

One colleague was so motivated by the experience she signed up there and then to take part in the trail with her family this weekend.

"It was so nice to give back to a great charity and we had a great laugh doing it. I would 100% recommend!"
