The main pool at Glasgow Club Tollcross will reopen to the public on Thursday 30 April.

The reopening allows local people to return to a high-quality facility, which will also host the world's best swimmers when the city welcomes the 2026 Commonwealth Games this summer.

The programme of works was supported by Glasgow Life, Glasgow City Council's capital programme and Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games venue readiness fund. This included pool and plant repairs, upgrades to spectator seating, lighting, competition starting blocks and the video board, which have been gifted to the venue as a legacy from Glasgow 2026.

These improvements will help maintain a high-quality experience for local people while meeting the standards required for elite competition.
