Graham's retirement donations support Beatson charity

After more than 25 years of service to Glasgow Life Sport, Graham Diamond has decided it's time to 'hang up his boots' and step into a well-earned retirement.
Many may know Graham as a Senior Sport Football Officer, a role in which he has made an incredible impact. Over the years, he has been passionate in developing football programmes across Glasgow Life, supporting grassroots initiatives, coach education and training. He has inspired a love for the game in others, nurtured talent, and created pathways for aspiring footballers.
Gillan McGuire, Sports Development Officer said:
"As we say a warm farewell and good luck to our dear colleague and friend, 'The Gaffer', we are proud to share the incredible generosity that has marked his retirement. In honour of his heartfelt wish, Graham asked that any retirement gifts be donated to the Beatson Cancer Charity, in loving memory of his close friends and colleagues, Splash and Alexis.
This touching gesture reflects the kindness, compassion, and selflessness that we've all come to admire in him. We thank Graham not just for his contributions but a legacy of kindness that will continue to inspire us all".
Thanks to the generosity of colleagues and friends, £600 has been raised for the Beatson.
