Hate Crime Awareness course now live on GOLD

This new course will help you learn about hate crimes and their impact. By joining, you’ll be better prepared to support others and help make our community safer. You’ll also find out how to respond to and report incidents.

The course is brief and takes just 15 to 20 minutes to complete. It covers:

  • What the Hate Crime Act is
  • Protected characteristics
  • What counts as a hate crime
  • What doesn’t count as a hate crime
  • Hate crime or EDI
  • Freedom of speech
  • Reporting a hate crime
