Interested in building your AI skills? Free online training is now available

The UK Government is now offering free training courses in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

These will give you the skills you need to use simple AI tools confidently and responsibly in the workplace.

You can choose from 14 different courses, each taking between 20 minutes and 9 hours to complete.

The training covers practical tasks like:

• Drafting text
• Creating content
• And automating admin work

How to get started

Visit the AI Skills Hub at https://aiskillshub.org.uk/aiskillsboost/ to see the available courses.

If you find courses that match your job or development needs, talk with your line manager. You should then agree on how much work time you can use to complete them.

After finishing a course, give your manager the course details and your SAP number. Your manager will then email this information to gllanddenquiries@glasgowlife.org.uk. The Learning and Development team will update your SAP training record.
