Learning at Work Week - Cyber awareness & staying safe online
Cyber threats are becoming more common, both at work and in our personal lives. Being cyber‑aware helps protect our information, our services and each other.
Today's focus: building simple, effective habits to stay safe online.
Key actions and resources:
- Mandatory learning: If you haven't already done so, please complete the Information Security and Data Protection 2025 course on the GOLD e‑learning platform, or speak to your manager about accessing a paper version.
- Get Safe Online www.getsafeonline.org. Advice going back to basics on online safety topics such as passwords, scams, and AI.
- UK Safer Internet Centre www.saferinternet.org.uk. For anyone with children in their lives or who works with children to learn about supporting them to be safer online.
- NCSC Cyber Aware guidance: Clear, practical advice on passwords, phishing and staying secure online. www.ncsc.gov.uk/cyberaware
