It is important that we recognise that hard work and commitment.

Through listening groups, you told us that recognising the time, loyalty, and dedication people give to Glasgow Life matters. It makes people feel valued and helps build a stronger, more connected charity. You also told us that local celebrations in teams and by line managers are important.

Thank you to everyone involved in our listening groups who provided feedback to help us shape our celebrations.

In response, we're pleased to announce that we are relaunching our Long Service Recognition Awards. These awards are the first part of an ongoing plan to celebrate your contributions.

Next steps

Heads of Service will receive a list by the end of June showing colleagues who reached a milestone anniversary between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2024. They will share the details so managers can arrange local celebrations. After that, we will celebrate colleagues who reach a milestone in 2025.
