Lord Provost’s Christmas winter jacket and new toy appeal 2025

The Lord Provost Councillor Jacqueline McLaren is appealing to you to donate the following items for families in need in the city:

• new winter jackets (aged 5-17)
• toys, gifts and selection boxes (preferably unwrapped)
• please remember older children and teenagers too.

Where to donate?

You can put your items in specifically marked bins in the following areas from Friday 21 November:

• City Chambers, main reception
• City Chambers, Councillors Corridor
• City Chambers East, 40 John Street reception
• 229 George Street, main reception
• Commonwealth House, Albion Street reception
• Eastgate, London Road, reception.

The closing date for all donations is Friday 5 December.
