Men’s Health Awareness Month: Prioritising your health and wellbeing
This November, we are focusing on men’s health. It is a time to talk openly about keeping your body healthy, looking after your mind, and preventing suicide.
Men often wait longer to speak up or visit a doctor when something feels wrong. Men’s Health Month is a reminder that your health matters. Support is always here for you when you need it.
Key health checks to keep in mind
- Mental health: Mental health challenges can happen to anyone. Talking to a colleague or opening up when you feel stressed can make a huge difference.
- Cancer awareness: Prostate and testicular cancers are common in men. Check your body regularly for any changes. Seeing your doctor early helps you get treatment faster.
- Physical health: Going for daily walks, eating well, and moving your body help you stay strong and feel good.
