National Inclusion Week: Cranhill Tea Party
In August, artists from Glasgow Life's Common Good programme shared local participants' photos and writing at a lively tea party held at Cranhill Development Trust.
Teams from Glasgow Life Arts and Music, Live Well, and Glasgow Life Communities partnered with local community and arts groups to run the programme. Their goal was to bring artists into neighborhoods and connect with people who often feel left out of the arts.
Participants learned about community with writer John Binnie, musician Tina Freeland, and photographer Robin Mitchell.
The tea party marked the end of the artists’ six-month creative programme, which took place in the Calton, East Centre, Springburn, and Robroyston Wards.
