13 March 2026

Pay award 2026 to 2027

Following the two-year pay deal we agreed to last year, we’re happy to confirm that your pay will go up by 3.5%. This increase covers 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.

When you will see your pay increase

Your March pay, paid on Tuesday 31 March 2026, will include three days paid at the new rate, since those days are part of the new pay year.

Your April pay, paid on Tuesday 28 April 2026, will reflect the full 3.5% increase.

What this means for you

If you receive Universal Credit

Your take-home pay will change, which might affect your Universal Credit.

These benefits depend on your personal situation. So, as your employer, we can’t say exactly how or if it will impact you.

If you get Universal Credit, please check your account for updates. If your claim closes, you’ll get a message.
