Severe weather guidance – Storms Austen and Boelo

As you will be aware, Storms Austen and Boelo are forecast to see heavy rain and strong winds across Scotland throughout the remainder of today and the weekend.

A Met Office yellow warning for rain is currently in place until midnight tonight. Additionally, the wind alert for Storm Boelo has been upgraded to amber for the entirety of the country, lasting from 9pm tomorrow until 9pm on Sunday, with gusts of 60-70mph expected. Disruption to travel and utilities during this period is likely.

Glasgow Life operates numerous venues and sites across the city. As our colleague, it's important you're prepared for the impact of severe weather so that our customers receive the best possible level of service and you are informed and kept safe.

Please take a couple of minutes to re-familiarise yourself with our Glasgow Life Severe Weather Guidance. This is also available on the Colleague information pages of our website under 'S' for Severe Weather.
