Updated Online Safeguarding Policy and Guidelines
You can find our updated Glasgow Life Online Safeguarding Policy and all relevant documents on the Libraries and Communities pages of our intranet here:
https://intranet.glasgowlife.org.uk/article/8589/Safeguarding-children-and-vulnerable-adults
These guidelines are for colleagues, volunteers and self-employed contractors engaged by Glasgow Life. A self-employed contractor is any individual who is paid by Glasgow Life to deliver a service on behalf of Glasgow Life.
They set out the guidelines for engaging safely with young people and/or adults (including vulnerable adults) when delivering a Glasgow Life service online.
Online delivery is any session delivered through an online platform that participants can watch and/or interact with Glasgow Life services, for example, video conferencing or social media channels.
All colleagues who are likely to engage with customers online as part of their role must complete our NEW Online Safeguarding training available on GOLD.
