Senior Leadership Team commitments

Throughout September/October 2025, our Colleague Feedback Survey gathered the views of 48% of colleagues. Our commitments are:

To celebrate:

A total of 1,136 colleagues took part in our 2025 survey, which is a 48% response rate. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

83% of you said you are proud of the difference we make in Glasgow’s communities, which is an increase from last year. Also, 92% of you regularly look for ways to serve our customers better. This reflects your strong commitment to delivering great experiences across Glasgow Life.

We will continue to celebrate the great work you do. If you have stories about outstanding service, please share them with Internal Communications. We would love to hear from you.

To improve:

The statement "I believe this survey will lead to action" received the lowest score in 2025. We recognise that we need to improve in this area.

Senior managers are reviewing team results and developing clear action plans. They are looking at what is working well and what needs to change. Teams will talk about these findings openly so you know what is happening and why.

You can follow our progress on the Commitments page on the Colleague Information website. We want to show that your voice matters and that your feedback leads to real change.

To start doing:

66% of colleagues agree that bullying is managed in their workplace. However, there was a 3% increase in those who said bullying is rarely or never managed. We know this needs to be addressed.

We have updated our Bullying and Harassment Policy and started new training for all colleagues. Sexual harassment training is already underway, and more training on other types of bullying will continue through 2026. These steps help build awareness, confidence, and skills across Glasgow Life.

Please read our Bullying and Harassment Policy and Guide. It explains your responsibilities, how to raise concerns, and how we respond. Everyone deserves a respectful and inclusive workplace where they feel safe and supported.
