Uncovering Sauchiehall Street
Uncovering Sauchiehall Street explores the area's intangible heritage - the history which lives in the memories and stories of local communities and visitors to the street.
This programme strand aims to uncover the street's roots through creative activity and bringing a variety of voices into the conversation about the street's past, present and future.
We've been working with artists, researchers and archives to better understand the historic narrative of the area, and create a deeper sense of place and belonging amongst community members.
Open call - Heritage Artists in Communities 2026-27
Deadline: 20 April
We are pleased to invite submissions from Glasgow-based artists for our next round of Heritage Artist in Communities commissions - two, year long themed residencies, working with communities.
