Ward 15, Phase 2, Mind Yourself

As part of  Glasgow Life’s Creative Communities Artists in Residence programme for Ward 15, Maryhill, Louise Nolan delivered Mind Yourself, an online mindfulness journal and sketchbook project.

Louise worked with a local peer support group, where participants met weekly online to explore creative wellbeing practices. Each session introduced a new journalling or drawing prompt, supported by a box of materials and equipment posted directly to participants’ homes.

The project offered a vital creative outlet and emotional lifeline, particularly for those living alone, managing long-term health conditions, or caring for others. Mind Yourself fostered a sense of connection, routine and self-expression during a period of deep isolation.
