A Grade 1 ticket entitles you to a full days access to Glasgow Green for the entire piping competition, including an allocated seat at the Grade 1 Arena.

Weekend Tickets
Weekend discounted tickets are available. Simply add both a Friday and Saturday ticket to your basket and we’ll automatically apply a discount at checkout.
You’ll be issued with two individual tickets, one for each day you attend the event.

Due to a liquor licence being in place, NO LIQUIDS (water, soft drinks, alcohol) will be permitted to be brought onto the site for the duration of the event.
You can bring your own EMPTY re-fillable container and we provide drinking water on site.
Booking and transaction information and FAQs
Any booking fee helps cover the costs involved in running the ticket system, card payment security and fraud-checks, bank charges for card processing, 24-hour online sales, the core staffing to sell tickets over the phone & at the counter.
A transaction fee is applied to cover charges for the website booking line and telephone booking line. Regardless of the number of tickets purchased in a transaction the charge remains the same.
The customer’s choice of sales channel (online, telephone or counter) determines the cost.

Environmental Levy
The Glasgow Environmental Levy was introduced by Glasgow City Council in 2019.
In their public book of charges they define the charge as ‘to support the maintenance of the parks infrastructure so they can continue to hold events for future years”

Advance tickets are available until 23:59 on Thursday 13 August 2026. After this time only on the day prices will be available.
This gives access to the whole of Glasgow Green. The Grade 1 Arena is open to all General Ticket holders on FRIDAY; seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
A Grade 1 ticket gives access to Glasgow Green from when the gates open, and a seat throughout the day in the Grade 1 Seating Area. Grade 1 tickets are available for Saturday only.
A family ticket represents excellent value for a family of 2 adults and up to 3 children. “Children” are from 6-15 years of age. Those aged 5 and under don’t require a ticket.
This is the core cost of the ticket printed on the ticket.
This price is set by the event organiser, based on the costs involved in presenting an event. The face value of a ticket goes directly to the event organiser or promoter.
When you’re booking online, via the venue box office or over the phone, we’ll always be sure to give you a clear breakdown of exactly what charges are involved.
You will be charged the following
- The face value of the ticket
- A booking fee
- A transaction fee (if applicable) & Fulfilment Fee (if applicable)
In accordance with the Committees of Advertising Practice (CAP) requirements we will ensure that any fee or charge levied on top of the face value of the ticket is stated clearly at critical points during the purchase process, and when advertising ticket prices the booking fee will be included.
Gate opening time for all ticket holders is 7.00am on Friday and Saturday.
Yes. Concession prices are available for full-time students; Senior Citizens (aged 60 plus); Jobseekers Allowance, and Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment and Employment & Support Allowance recipients. Proof of entitlement must be shown when collecting tickets.
A child ticket covers those aged 6-15 years of age. Those aged 5 and under do not require a ticket.
All e-tickets will be sent on Monday 10 August.
