Join Glasgow Afghan United as musicians in the community join Scottish musicians to create songs which represent both nations, showcasing culture through music. Mixing instrumentation and experience, these new Afghan & Scottish songs will be performed for the first time at Celtic Connections, as part of Celtic Connections in the Community in partnership with BEMIS.

Our Celtic Connections in the Community events will enable local and diverse Glasgow communities to showcase the best of Scotland’s contemporary cultural traditions and work with professional artists to bring a special collaborative performance to Glasgow’s world-renowned music festival.

With kind support from the Scottish Government and Unison.
