Glasgow Music present Tea Dance with Penman Jazzmen – Tuesday 19th November - Dementia Friendly Performance

The legendary George Penman Jazzmen-their first gig was in Lenzie Town Hall in 1959 and for many years played in the famous King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow every Saturday afternoon. When it comes to longevity the Penman band continues to reign. Sadly George passed away in 2009, the year of their Golden Jubilee, but the band decided it would continue under the name of Penman Jazzmen. The line-up is  Duncan Nair (Clarinet), Dave Fimister (Trumpet), George Howden( Trombone), Kit Carey (Banjo), Bill Mullen (Drums) and John Sinton ( Double bass).
