"Spend a day with artists Dai and Jenny Vaughan and learn about the life and work of Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh.

You will see a short film of how gesso panels are created right from the beginning to the final stage and hear about how Margaret, and her sister Francis, grew up and became such brilliant and innovative artists.

There will also be an opportunity for everyone to work with gesso, on specially prepared boards.

Finally, there will be a tour of the exhibition, with special emphasis on the work of Margaret Macdonald and her gesso panels."
