Harry Potter Activities for kids @ Townhead

With the help of our Sorcerer's Stone we've compiled this assortment of Harry Potter themed activities for kids. Bringing J K Rowling's books to life through hands-on magical activities, each with an educational twist.

A group trip will take place in week 7 to the Transport Museum.

Many of the projects focus on science. This programme is a S.T.E.M education programme. S.T.E.M learning stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, all activities will be based around these learning themes but will use Harry Potter to make them interesting, fun and educational.

S.T.E.M can be used to support all four contexts for learning: Curriculum areas, Ethos and life of the school, interdisciplinary learning, opportunities for personal achievement. S.T.E.M contexts can also support learning across all eight curriculum areas and in particular within sciences, technologies and mathematics.
