Dates and times
A deep dive into the sonic tapestry of the world that often we ignore or try to block out.
This performance in our Human Threads exhibition uses a huge array of everyday sounds which will be channelled through the exhibit by artist Wendy Jacobs exhibit. JP Waksman plays sounds that have been stretched, cut, and woven into a captivating sonic and musical composition that takes the listener through the vastly different ways in which we all experience the sounds of the world around us.
The performance draws inspiration from those with neurodivergence’s and how they experience sound. The composition asked the listener to pause, listen, feel, and above all, loose themselves in the shared journey.
ACCESS: Highly sensory
Part of a programme of events accompanying Human Threads, a large scale, multi-sensory exhibition from Artlink in partnership with Tramway, open here until 28 August.
