To Absent Friends Week is a Scotland-wide festival of remembrance and storytelling, held from 1–7 November. It’s a time to share memories, tell stories, and celebrate the lives of people we love who have died.
Join us at Castlemilk Library for a warm cup of tea or coffee and gentle conversation at our Café of Reminiscence, hosted with the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. It’s a relaxed space to pause, remember, and connect through shared memories.
You are welcome to bring photographs or mementos of those you want to remember.
Explore our specially curated reading list on death, dying, and bereavement, created in partnership with Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief.
Join our Death Café in the Mitchell with Creative Conversations.
