Join Maisie Chan as she introduces all things Panda! Maisie
will chare her new picture book Chi Chi the Panda and you will learn some panda
facts. You can follow Maisie and learn to draw your own panda!
Maisie Chan is an award-winning children’s author. She is best known for Danny Chung Does Not Do Maths which won the Jhalak Prize and Branford Boase Awards. Her debut picture book is a non-fiction book called Chi Chi the Panda with illustrations by Jo Lindley. Chi Chi was a real panda who became the face of the World Wild Life Fund and lead an extraordinary life. Maisie also writes the Tiger Warrior series and is one of the authors of the The Very Merry Murder Club. She regularly appears at festivals and travels around the world visiting schools to encourage reading for pleasure.
