This walking tour will explore the ways the People’s Palace and Glasgow Green have been impacted by Glasgow’s links to slavery and Empire. Led by Nelson Cummins, Curator of Legacies of Slavery and Empire.

The accessible toilet is located to the right hand side of the building.

Wheelchair access

There is wheelchair and pram access to all public areas using the lifts and there are free wheelchairs available to hire at reception.

The museum is a 15 minute walk from Argyle Street, Bellgrove and High Street train stations.

Subway

The nearest subway station is St Enoch.

By bus

First Bus services 18, 64 and 263 stop on London Road, with services 2, 40, 60, 61, 240 and 255 stop on Gallowgate. All these services are within a couple of minutes walk to the People's Palace.
