Glasgow Code Learning: Summer School

We are pleased to announce that Glasgow Code Learning: Summer School is back! 

We are running short courses that will introduce you to key topics that are covered in our Developer and Pro courses. The courses will be delivered online by an accredited instructor, and they are ideal if you have no skills or experience in these areas, or if you would like a taster before committing to our 6-week or 12-week courses.  

You can choose from: 

Introduction to Data Science

Discover how data is changing the world and creating new and exciting career opportunities. This introductory course explores the basics of data science, data analytics and data engineering, and shows how machine learning is shaping our future. 

This 6-hour course will be delivered across two evenings online on:

• Wednesday 22nd July 

Introduction to Cybersecurity

This introductory course covers the basics of cybersecurity, including how to protect your personal digital life, understand common security challenges and explore the tools used to protect computers and networks.

This 6-hour course will be delivered across two evenings online on:

• Tuesday 28th July
• Thursday 30th July

Python Essentials

Learn fundamental concepts of computer programming and start building coding skills with the Python programming language. In this course, you will learn in-demand skills such as how to design, develop, and improve computer programs, methods for analysing problems using programming, programming best practices, and more.

This 26-hour online course will be delivered over two weeks as a mixture of weekday evening and Saturday full-day classes:
