Built in 1966, Baillieston Library offers a wide range of services and activities in relaxing and inspiring surroundings. With thousands of books and a programme of weekly classes and events, our friendly staff will always be on hand to help you get the most out of your visits.

A new community hub including a library, gym, dance studios and community spaces.

Come along to Baillieston Library to see the plans, ask questions and find out more at the following staffed information sessions:

  • Thursday 21 December 2023 11am-7pm
  • Thursday 18 January 2024 4pm-7pm
  • Saturday 20 January 2024 10am-2pm

If you can’t attend any of these sessions, the plans will be displayed in Baillieston Library until 31 January 2024.

Please note: Public toilets are NOT available in this venue.

Assistance dogs are welcome. We can provide a bowl of water for an assistance dog.

The venue does have its own car park.

The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance.

Photography and video recording

On occasion, Glasgow Life will be on the premises to film and take photos.
