Whole Family Support
Whether you need help with digital access, sessions for a child with additional support needs, or a welcoming place to learn and take part in activities, there is something available for you and your family.
What Support is Available?
Discover FREE services and activities for families:
- Holistic Family Support: Tailored help for health and wellbeing.
- Digital support: for individuals experiencing housing-related needs or digital exclusion. We can help you overcome digital barriers and access the services and information you need.
- ASN Family Play Hubs: welcoming, inclusive opportunities for families with children with Additional Support Needs (ASN). Sessions take place in community centres, including Barmulloch, Netherton and Penilee. Activities include: Bookbug and sharing stories, soft play, arts and crafts, messy play, access to sensory rooms, sports and physical activities and an opportunity to meet other families.
- Sports activities including: Glasgow Club memberships, swimming, football, tennis, disability activities and family multi-sport sessions.
- ESOL Classes: (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Learn English, connect with others and grow.
- Literacy and numeracy: support including a range of free opportunities for families to build their literacy and numeracy skills. From Bookbug sessions, reading groups and family learning to adult literacy and numeracy programmes, helping develop confidence and skills for everyday life, learning and employment. Support is welcoming, accessible and delivered in community settings, helping families learn together.
Open to families who live in the following areas and are supported by Includem Family Support Workers:
Bridgeton, Carntyne, Castlemilk, Cranhill, Croftfoot, Drumchapel, Easterhouse, Govan, Govanhill, Parkhead, Pollok, Possilpark, Ruchazie, Springburn and Tollcross.
