All Glasgow Club venues, with pools, have a functioning hoist on site. These support safe entry and exit from our swimming pools.

We offer ‘quiet times’ in our Glasgow Club gyms.
This helps to create an inclusive, welcoming environment, particularly for members with autism, high levels of social anxiety and anyone who prefers working out in a quieter environment.
At these times there will be no music on the main gym floor. Music in (functional training) areas will be at a much lower level too.
Of course you’re welcome to bring your own music and wear headphones during these hours.

We deliver a variety of ASN Friendly sessions.
This includes our PlayGym, Clip n’ Climb, Soft Play and Free Family Swims.
These activities are delivered at a reduced capacity, no music and lower levels of lighting.
Sensory toys and mats are available within our Softplay and PlayGym activities.
Adult Disability Activities
Glasgow Life supports adults with disabilities to be active and learn new skills.
Our fully qualified and enthusiastic coaches are experienced in supporting various disabilities and ensuring that our sessions are accessible for all.

Adult Disability Sport Activities
Our Disability Activity Days are designed to give participants the opportunity to participate in sport and exercise within a safe and inclusive environment. These sessions are ran by our experienced coaches, who make sure all activities are inclusive and adaptable for wheelchair users and people with more complex disabilities or health conditions.
Activities across the day include Circuits, multi-sport, supervised gym sessions and boccia.
These sessions take place at:
- Monday @ Glasgow Club Tollcross between 10am - 2.30pm
- Wednesday @ Glasgow Club Gorbals between 10am – 2.30pm
- Friday @ Glasgow Club Springburn between 10am - 2pm

Delivered by our experienced and qualified coaches this is the perfect environment to come along and get a taste of lots of different sports in a fun and safe environment.

Our Boccia Sessions provide participants with opportunities to try a Paralympic sport similar to bowls. This target sport develops precision, muscle control and teamwork skills.
No previous experience needed, so why not come along and try something new!
These session take place at Glasgow Club Gorbals and Tollcross.

Disability Circuit sessions are delivered by our highly experienced and qualified Disability Sport Coaches.
These sessions aim to improve and maintain the general health and well being and increase physical activity with adults with a disability. Our staff will create a fun and safe circuit session which will suit everyone's needs and abilities.

Kids Disability Sport Activities
Our Disability Learn to Swim sessions are delivered by our highly experienced and qualified Disability Sport Coaches, these sessions will assist people to be water confident, develop core aquatic skills and keep fit.
These sessions are for young people aged 5-17 years old.
These sessions take place at Glasgow Club Gorbals, Springburn and Scotstoun.

This session is delivered in Partnership with Glasgow Eagles and provides children aged 12+ years with the opportunity to develop there basketball skills in a fun, safe and welcoming environment. The session is mixed ability sessions and no experience in basketball is required.
This session takes place at Glasgow Club Donald Dewar on a Saturday between 12pm and 2pm. Sessions cost £3.50.

Wednesdays
5pm - 5.45pm: ASN Family Football (5-10 years)
Unstructured free play for children to explore, play and have fun alongside their parent/ carer.
£3 per session
6pm - 6.45pm: ASN Coached Football
Structured activities led by our coaches for children aged 5-10 and 11-15.

ASN Friendly Sessions
Join our Family Additional Support Needs Play sessions! Perfect for kids and families to have fun and stay active with indoor activities like circle games, storytelling, arts & crafts, and free play with toys.
- Sun 10am-12noon: Glasgow Club Tollcross
- Sun 2pm-4pm: Glasgow Club Palace of Art
- Sat 9.30am-11.30am (starts 22 March: Glasgow Club Donald Dewar

We delivery ASN friendly sessions in the soft play at Kelvin Hall every Wednesday.
These sessions are open to all and will have reduced capacity with lower sound and lighting levels. We will also have an area set up with sensory resources including toys, lights and soft matting.
At our Additional Support Needs (ASN) PlayGym class all of the equipment is set out to encourage each child to explore their own imagination and stimulate learning, with a fully qualified coach on hand to help.
Classes are open for parents/guardians and pre-school children from crawling to 5 years old (pre-school) with additional support needs. Lighting will be reduced and noise will be minimal with no music, please note there is a maximum ratio of one adult to one children.
For some disabilities it may be necessary to seek medical advice prior to taking part in these sessions.
These free swim sessions are for kids with additional support needs and their families throughout the school holidays.
There is no need to book in advance, but booking is an option from 7-days ahead of each session if you'd like peace of mind.
