The Briggait

Merchant City Festival is expanding to The Briggait in 2026 thanks to funding from Glasgow 2026 Festival.

What you can expect

This vibrant festival hub is where you can fuel your day while resident DJs spin the perfect summer soundtrack. The venue will be packed with non-stop inspiring talks and family activities, alongside hands-on Participation Zones filled with interactive workshops for all ages. There will be pop-up performances throughout the weekend, including ‘State Dinner’ by Craig McCorquodale.
