From tomorrow (Saturday 13 June) our team at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum are excited to welcome visitors to Barbie: The Exhibition.

Coming to Scotland for the first time, this major exhibition explores the history and design of one of the world's most famous dolls and showcases the iconic brand's influence and cultural impact over 67 years.

With more than 250 objects on display — from fashion, friends and furniture to cars and the many careers of Barbie — there is something for visitors of all ages.

A partnership between the Design Museum and Mattel Inc. the exhibition is set to be one of Glasgow's standout cultural experiences of the summer.
