Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026

Logo for Neurodiversity Celebration Week featuring a lightbulb with a multicoloured brain icon inside, alongside the text ‘Neurodiversity Celebration Week, March 16–20, 2026’.

Next week is Neurodiversity Celebration Week (16 to 22 March). A global movement challenging stereotypes and embracing the power of different minds. Did you know that 1 in 5 people are neurodivergent? That means many of our colleagues experience the world in unique and valuable ways.

Why It Matters:

Neurodivergent individuals bring creativity, innovation, and fresh perspectives to the workplace. By fostering an inclusive culture, we unlock hidden strengths and create a space where everyone thrives.

Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026

The week provides an opportunity to acknowledge and value a wide range of neurological differences, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, Tourette's syndrome and other cognitive variations, while promoting acceptance and reducing stigma.

Neurodivergent individuals continue to face misconceptions and barriers, particularly in areas such as employment. Recognising these barriers is essential to ensuring fair access, equity, and inclusion.

By building environments that welcome different ways of thinking and by removing barriers, we move closer to workplaces and communities where everyone's contributions, needs, and potential are recognised and supported.
