The session will be helpful for anyone interested in taking part in Suicide Prevention Week, but unsure where to start. Whether it's sharing information online, hosting an awareness event, or running a wellbeing activity, every action can help make a difference. The session will provide a space to share ideas and learn from others.
By the end of the session, attendees should be able to:
- plan Suicide Prevention Week activity that is safe and evidence informed
- use consistent national messaging and campaign materials
- know what resources are available and where to access them
- understand how to share information about suicide while keeping yourself and others safe
- feel confident talking about suicide prevention safely in communications, events and on social media.
Please note that this session will include discussion of suicide prevention. While there will be no detailed discussion of suicide, some attendees may find the content upsetting or emotionally challenging.
