World Menopause Awareness Day

World Menopause Awareness Day is tomorrow (Saturday 18 October). It’s a chance to raise awareness, share support, and start conversations that matter.

This year’s theme is lifestyle medicine. That means looking at how simple daily habits can help ease symptoms and improve wellbeing. It’s about healthy eating, staying active, sleeping well, and building strong relationships.

Menopause is a natural part of life. But it can bring changes that affect how we feel at work and at home. Talking about it helps. So does knowing where to find support.

We’re proud to support colleagues through every stage of life. Our My Wellbeing pages include practical advice and helpful links. You’ll find tips on managing symptoms, talking to your manager, and supporting others. Some of our libraries, like Woodside, Parkhead, and Elder Park, host free, drop-in sessions led by the Menopause Warriors support group. Offering a space to share experiences and advice.
