Introduction

Sauchiehall Street: Culture and Heritage District and the Creative Enterprise Development Office at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland have joined forces to create a fantastic new funding opportunity for creatives in our local communities:

The Make It Happen Sauchiehall Street Fund is open to artists, musicians, performers, film makers and writers aged over 16 and onwards, who are not already working in the arts and are not accessing/have not accessed formal arts education since the age of 16.

Creatives living in Glasgow’s City Centre – whether they love making theatre, dance, film or music – can apply for 5 awards of £1,000 each to develop their creativity.

The fund can be used in multiple ways such as: training, networking, testing an idea, staging pop-up event or exhibition, travel costs for research, or digital performances, and forming new collaborations.

The application deadline is 5:00PM, Wednesday 27 August.

Unfortunately, if you submit your application late, it will not be considered.
