Every January, Celtic Connections lights up the Scottish winter. Concerts, ceilidhs, workshops and events take over venues throughout Glasgow for this leading annual winter festival of world, folk and roots music. The numbers each year alone are amazing, with 300 events over 18 days, more than 2000 musicians from 50 countries – previous festivals have featured Robert Plant, Laura Marling, the Chieftains, Bobby Womack to name just a few - and more than 100, 000 attendances. More than ever this is a festival which has become unmissable.
