Applications now open
Apply to be a caterer or trader at the World Pipe Band Championships 2026 and be part of the largest event of its kind in the world. If you are available on Friday 14 August AND/OR Saturday 15 August then we want to hear from you!
The Championships, which take place over two days, will feature a Food & Trader Village on Saturday 15 August.
Join us and over 8,000 pipers and drummers on Glasgow Green to celebrate the biggest event in piping.
Catering Applications
If you offer a menu of tasty food, cater for families and those with food allergens and consider yourself ahead of the curve on sustainability, then make sure to apply!
Apply to be a caterer
Space is limited so we will carefully consider every detail you provide in your application to ensure we offer the best variety of food available, and you have a great experience onsite and want to return every year. Variety, value for money, sustainable practices, experience and pitch size are just some of the elements required.
We aim to create a diverse mix of Scottish and global cuisines to share with the World Pipe Band Championships audience.
You can apply as a High Volume Caterer or Food Village Caterer.

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Tuesday 28 April 2026.

Trading Applications
Be a part of our exciting team of traders and showcase your business to thousands of visitors from around the world!
Apply to be a trader
Space is limited and we will consider every application to ensure we offer the best quality products and experience to our audience, and the best experience to you as a trader.
We provide different options for traders interested in attending both days, or just the Trader Village on the Saturday. We also have an option for charities looking to attend the event.
You can apply as a Mobile Trader or a Covered Trader.
